PRICED BELOW NADA BLUEBOOK! NEEDS VERY LITTLE WORK!
Adult owned, 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner 440, 727 torqueflight tranny with b&M gate shifter, 8 3/4 rear 2.76 gears (for good gas mileage), I also have a posi with 3.73 gears (not in car), interior near perfect condition, new seat skins, new carpet, dash cap (just discovered a crack in the cap), hard to find stock tachometer, Pioneer detach face CD player, paint in good shape (done 5 years ago but looks new), decals are in perfect condition, beep beep horn, turbine wheels, new headlight bezels, new aluminum door rails, the whole body and front clip is near perfect! NO BONDO! all kick panels are in perfect condition, new trunk divider and insulation. All door, trunk, and hood seals new, glass is all good, runs good, massive power! Suprisingly, it's good on gas, 18 gallon tank. 750 edelbrock carb. Brand new battery. Car was completely restored 5 years ago by a mopar fanatic. Not abused or raced, adult owned. garaged and only seen a sprinkle at a car show. Won 2nd place B-body stock class 2006 at the mopar nationals in woodburn, and best mopar (beating out 5 other mopars, including a 1970 Challenger RT) at the bomber restaurant in 2006. Trophy, plaque and dash plaques come with car. also have a show reader board for display. 99.5 RUST FREE! There is a small area about the size of a quarter on the driver rear by the taillight that has surface rust under paint, but hardly noticable and not spreading.
I've owned this for just about 5 years and have only put about 200 miles on it. This car is beautiful, and a real head turner!!! Must see to appreciate.
The only items in car not original are the motor and tranny. Everything else is original OEM.
****The master cylinder went bad so it can't be driven safely. New owner would have to trailer or drive very carefully after purchase.
She will start and run, no problem. She does drive, but unsafe due to brakes.
This is as close to a show car as you will get for the money. A real head turner.
Even though the motor and tranny are not numbers matching, It would be a very simple conversion back to the 340 and 4 speed tranny. I do not have the 340 and 4 speed but they are easy to find.
